How do I get a copy of everything?

Ask for an export in Settings and you will be emailed when it is ready. It contains one mbox file per folder, your calendars as .ics and your contacts as .vcf.

These are the formats Thunderbird, Apple Mail and every migration tool already read. There is nothing CanopyMail-specific in the archive.

The download link works for seven days and then the archive is deleted. An export is a complete copy of your mailbox and should not sit on a server indefinitely.

You do not need to ask anyone’s permission, and taking one is not a signal to your administrator that you are leaving — they are not told.
